We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of data such as health or biometric information through this site. Please do not send us such information. If you contact us about a professional or regulatory matter, please do not include confidential, privileged or commercially sensitive material — this is a publication, not a secure channel, and we cannot offer confidentiality protections.

The name and comment text are displayed publicly. The email address and IP address are not displayed.
Comment data is used to display the comment, detect spam, and contact you about your comment where necessary. An anonymised hash of your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to display a profile image; Gravatar’s privacy policy is at automattic.com/privacy.
Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so that follow-up replies remain readable in context. You can request deletion of your comments and associated data at any time using the contact address above.

EEA and UK (GDPR / UK GDPR). Where this policy applies to you, we process personal data on a lawful basis — consent, contract, legitimate interests, or legal obligation, depending on the processing. Analytics and advertising cookies are processed on the basis of consent where consent is required. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
India (DPDP Act). You may have rights to access, correction, erasure and grievance redressal in relation to personal data processed about you. Requests can be made using the contact address above.
Children’s privacy
UniverseBlend is not directed at children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 in the EEA and UK, or under 13 in other jurisdictions where that is the applicable minimum age. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
